Fluorescent Polyethylene Microspheres - Yellow in Daylight, Blue-Green in UV Light 0.98g/cc - 27um to 300um

Under regular daylight conditions these color-changing polyethylene microspheres appear fluorescent yellow. However, when illuminated by 365nm UV light they exhibit a strong blue-green fluorescent response. This feature is very useful in process diagnostics and troubleshooting, process flow, medical research and other industries.

Density: 0.98g/cc
Daylight Color: Fluorescent Yellow
Illumination Color: Fluorescent Blue-Green with UV illumination (365nm)
Particles in Size Range: > 90%
Spherical Particles: > 90%

Polyethylene microspheres are hydrophobic and suspend easily in oil-based solutions. They can also be suspended in aqueous solution if coated with a surfactant prior to suspending in water. We recommend using Tween 80 or Tween 20 Surfactants.
