Bright red spherical polymer particles are supplied in dry powder form and are color-stable in solution. Controlled particle size ranges enable investigation of maximum particle size passing through the openings, filters and membranes. The density of these particles ensures that they will float on the surface in an aqueous solution. The bright red coloration ensures high visibility.

Polyethylene microspheres are hydrophobic and suspend easily in oil-based solutions. They can also be suspended in aqueous solution if coated with a surfactant prior to suspending in water. We recommend using Tween 80 or Tween 20 Surfactants.

Hi, I need tracers for PIV in water at 25 degrees C so density = 0.997/cc, red light, and a particle size of around 75 micros. Which one pf your products would be the best choice?
Answers:
We recommend fluorescent red UVPMS-BR-0.995 63-75um spheres for this application. This product will closely match your desired density and size. Note that you will need Tween surfactant for these microspheres to go into water solution.
